Sue Dasler Pottery
Sue Dasler is a celebrated New Zealand ceramicist with over 15 years dedicated to crafting elegant, functional domestic ware. Raised in Kaikōura and trained in ceramics at the Nelson School of Visual Arts, Sue now works from her studio and gallery in Lyall Bay, Wellington, where she creates pieces inspired by the forms, textures, and colors of the natural environment.
Her work is characterized by clean lines, thoughtful glazing, and a harmonious blend of form and function, the kind that feels both timeless and distinctly Kiwi. She offers a variety of collections like the “South Coast Series,” “Tapa Range,” and “Seabirds,” all wheel-thrown and lovingly crafted for everyday use.
Sue’s pieces are featured in galleries across New Zealand, including Artform Gallery (Auckland), Form Gallery (Christchurch), The Cool Store Gallery (Mapua), and others, making her work accessible to lovers of handcrafted ceramics around the country.
Whether you’re setting your table for breakfast or brightening up your kitchen, Sue Dasler’s pottery brings a touch of coastal charm and enduring quality to everyday moments.
Sue Dasler Pottery is situated beside the famous Courthouse Cafe in Collingwood.
